Hello, My name is Angelika. I am married to a terrific guy and we have 3 sons together (in 4 years)!! As you can imagine our lives were crazy busy. As the boys got a little older I found myself running ragged and eating at every drive thru out of pure exhaustion. It seemed I was always on a diet but every year was gaining more weight…..something had to give.
As the boys got a little bit older, I started to realize how I had been eating since I was 16 was ALL WRONG. My body was literally “breaking”! Low fat (or fat free) was the big craze since the late 80’s when I was a teenager. I learned a lot and started to eat healthy protein at every meal, my carbs were my veggies and I started COOKING everything. There were no more drive thrus for me or my kids. When I decided to eat like this I naturally cut out a ton of sugar and processed foods – the very thing that had been making me gain weight and causing so much dysfunction in my body year after year. After about 3 months, my weight started to just melt off, almost effortlessly, my dysfunction in my body was addressed, and I had SO much energy; I actually felt better than when I was 20!! I can honestly say, if I had not changed my lifestyle I think I would have either cancer or an autoimmune disease by now – that scares the hell out of me and it’s what keeps me on track.
After doing much research about Nutrition & health, I decided I wanted to do Functional Nutritional Therapy and help others learn what I did by changing their lifestyle and addressing the dysfunction in their bodies to become healthier than they were 20 years ago. I studied at Nutritional Therapy Association, Morphogenic Field Technique with Dr. Frank Springob (Levels 1 & 2 advanced), Int’l College of BioEnergetic Medicine & Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am constantly learning updated therapies and the latest in superior supplementation.
